DescriptionThe Housekeeper supports the goals of IMPOWER by ensuring standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness are maintained throughout IMPOWER.
This is a part time, hourly position with a starting pay rate of $15.
00 per hour.
Essential Responsibilities and DutiesEnsure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness in all sleeping areas, offices, multipurpose rooms and public areasComplete daily cleaning of assigned tasks (rooms, bathrooms, common areas, public areas, etc.
) to include dusting, waxing and wiping down furniture and vacuuming and mopping floorsEmpty and wash garbage bins and oversee recycling procedures when necessaryFollow/lead the schedule of tasks to be completed on a daily basis due to agency needsContinuously seek and make improvements to the overall housekeeping functionsEnsure all staff and volunteers performing housekeeping functions are properly trained in technique, safety, efficiency and qualityMaintain supply levels, orderly supply closets and inventory and order all cleaning supplies as neededDeep cleaning of buildings during slow times as neededAssist with set-up/break-down for meetings, events, inspections, and toursFollow all safety residential safety protocols and ensure buildings and door are secure when not in useFollow instructions in regards to chemical use and safety hazards in the workplaceAttend staff training sessions and meetings as neededEnsure outside grounds are clean from any trash and unsafe objectsOther duties as assignedRequirementsQualifications, Education,
Experience:
High school diploma or GED certificateSuccessful background screenings through local law enforcement, Florida Dept.
of Law Enforcement and FBISuccessful motor vehicle driving record background check-will require local travel by personal vehicleExperience in a behavioral healthcare or residential setting preferredAbout the Company:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
