We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients.
Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take dental x-rays - Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, if required - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist by passing instruments and materials - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions - Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic dental software (Eaglesoft) - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff - Assist with patient assessment and provide support during emergencies - Specialize in pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for young patients Skills:
- Proficiency in using dental software (Eaglesoft) for medical documentation and appointment scheduling (We could train you) - Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations (We could train you) - Strong dental assisting skills, including taking x-rays, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting during procedures, ideal but not required - Understanding of infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff - Familiarity with medical records management in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions - Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment If you are a dedicated Dental Assistant looking to join a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.
